Six promoted at St. Anne's

Ross R. Upton, president and CEO of St. Anne’s Credit Union of Fall River, has announced the promotions of six employees.

They are: Lucy Carvalho of Somerset, Elizabeth Carreiro of Fall River, Kathleen Pelletier of New Bedford, Grace Taborda of Fall River, Michele Silva of New Bedford, and Sandra Medeiros of Westport.

Lucy Carvalho has been promoted to training & development manager for the Credit Union, responsible for in-house staff orientation, instruction and education. Since joining the Credit Union in 2001, Carvalho has served in a variety of roles, most recently as branch manager. She is a member of the Rotary Club and the South coast Human Resources Council.

Elizabeth Carreiro has been promoted from assistant branch manager to manager of the Credit Union’s President Avenue office. She joined St. Anne’s in 2004. Carreiro is active in the community, serving as a member of the United Way’s Campaign Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Fall River Symphony.

Kathleen Pelletier is now branch manager of the Credit Union’s South End Office. She joined St. Anne’s in 2006 and was previously assistant branch manager.

Grace Taborda, formerly a senior teller at St. Anne’s main office in Fall River, has been promoted to assistant branch manager. She was been with the Credit Union since 2008.

Formerly a senior teller in Dartmouth, Michele Silva has been promoted to assistant branch manager. Silva joined St. Anne’s in 2005.

Sandra Medeiros , who has been with the Credit Union since 2001, has been promoted to information security officer. In her new position, she will plan and implement computer security measures designed to further safeguard company and member information. Prior to her new assignment, she served as training and development manager.
