Gerald Rego joins St. Anne’s

Gerald Rego joins St. Anne’s Credit Union as VP of Commercial Lending

Ross R. Upton, president and CEO of St. Anne’s Credit Union, announces that Gerald Rego of North Dartmouth has joined the Credit Union as vice president of commercial lending. In this new position, Rego is responsible for developing and maintaining commercial account relationships.

He previously served as market development officer at Webster Bank in New Bedford, and has also held business development positions with Sovereign Bank and Compass Bank in that city.

Rego is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. Active in the community, he serves on the finance committee of Downtown New Bedford, on the Clambake Committee of United Way of Greater New Bedford, and on the loan committee of the New Bedford Economic Development Council. He is also a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.
