Will my debit card work if I’m traveling?
During heightened travel warnings and alerts issued, St. Anne’s may block foreign countries from processing transactions in order to better protect our members from fraud and other vulnerabilities.
Please call us at 1-877-STANNES (1-877-782-6637) prior to departure to:
- Explain any processing changes
- Monitor or authorize any out of country debit card transactions
If you are purchasing foreign items online, please contact us at 1-877-STANNES (1-877-782-6637) to authorize those charges giving you quicker purchasing power.

I lost my debit/ATM card or it was stolen. What should I do?
Turn your St. Anne’s debit/ATM card off by downloading the FREE CardValet® Mobile App. When your card is “off” no withdrawals or purchases will be approved. CardValet can be used to combat fraud, limit spending, and check real time balances.
To cancel your card and receive a replacement, call 1-877-STANNES (877-782-6637) during normal business hours or (800) 554-8969 after business hours.

My debit/ATM card is not working. What should I do?
Please contact St. Anne’s Credit Union by calling 1-877-STANNES (877-782-6637) or visiting any nearby branch. You will need your card, account number and proper identification in order to unlock the card.

How do I activate or change the PIN number for my debit/ATM card?
You can easily activate your ATM/Debit Card at any St. Anne’s Credit Union location or any ATM most convenient to you. You can also activate your ATM/Debit Card over the phone as well as change your PIN number utilizing our automated telephone service. Note: You will need to know the original PIN number assigned to your St. Anne’s ATM/Debit Card in order to create a new PIN number by phone.
To activate your ATM/Debit Card at St. Anne’s ATMs:
- Enter your ATM/Debit Card and PIN number.
- Select ‘Balance Inquiry’ or any other action to activate your card.
To activate or change your ATM/Debit Card PIN over the phone:
- Call toll-free 1-800-992-3808.
- Follow the prompts to enter your card number and the security responses to verify yourself. Once your identity has been confirmed, you are then able to set a new PIN number or activate your card.
Note: if you are unable to validate your personal information, you will then be transferred to a Call Center Representative who will be able to assist you.

Are my savings insured?
Your deposits at St. Anne’s Credit Union are insured in full by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) and the Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC). The NCUSIF provides insurance up to at least $250,000 per depositor (IRA accounts are insured separately up to $250,000). The MSIC now fully insures excess shares and deposits above the federal insurance limit of $250,000. This unique combination of coverage provided by NCUSIF and MSIC includes deposits and accumulated interest/dividends in savings and checking accounts, money market accounts, IRA accounts and certificates.
