St. Anne's donates to Fall River Korean War Veterans Monument

St. Anne’s Credit Union is proud to make a donation for the Korean War Veterans Monument that was dedicated recently at the Veterans Memorial Bicentennial Park in Fall River. Forty-seven men and women from Fall River who died in the Korean War are memorialized on this new monument dedicated to Korean War veterans just in time to honor them for Veterans’ Day - alongside the Gold Star Family and Iwo Jima Memorials. In the Spring, individuals will be able to purchase a brick that will be laid in the Park to honor a Veteran, with their name on it.

Eileen M. Danahey, St. Anne’s President & CEO, is “honored that the Credit Union can be a part of this dedication to those who served so selflessly for our freedom, right here in the City of Fall River. This is a small way for us to thank them for their service and to honor them.” She went on to say that the plaque presented to the Credit Union was going in her office, as it was a special reminder of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and those who continue to serve.
