Scholarship and Essay Contests

2018 CCUA Student Essay Contest

St. Anne’s Credit Union is proud to once again participate in the Student Essay Contest sponsored by the Cooperative Credit Union Association.  This is a statewide contest open to seventh and eighth grade students.  Participating credit unions will choose their top essays from all those collected.  The essays will then be submitted to the Association for final judging.

 

Essays will be judged on originality, content, grammar/spelling, and neatness. There will be eight (8) top winners with the following awards:

 

First Prize - (1) $500

Finalists - (7) $250

Honorable Mention winners - (10) $50

2018 St. Anne's Scholarship Program

 

St. Anne’s Credit Union awards a total of twelve $1,000 cash scholarships to graduating high school seniors each year.

Eleven of these scholarships are open to students from 24 Massachusetts and Rhode Island communities in the Credit Union’s service area. The remaining scholarship, the Alfred A. Dube Memorial Scholarship, is awarded to a graduating senior from B.M.C. Durfee High School.

Since the program began in 1993, St. Anne’s Credit Union has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to help the future leaders of our community achieve their higher education goals.
